Anti gassing Powder Coating

By through a special additive into powder coating raw material, it can reduce the effect on appearance caused by gases or moisture released from a cast substrate during cure. A small amount 2%-4% of the additive is incorporated by post mixing, which can minimize the formation of bubbles in the coating surface.
Substrates: die cast aluminum, magnesium and other cast parts, galvanized metals, and porous substrates.
Note: It typically reduces gloss by approximately 10 units. At elevated cure temperatures, a waxy film may appear on the surface, but can be easily removed. This additive may interfere with adhesion of silk-screening inks, labels and may cause an unusual appearance in metallic effect powder coatings. Therefore, pre-testing is always recommended.
