The thermosetting dual layer fusion bonded eopxy powder coating system is engineered to protect pipelines from corrosion in the most demanding operating environments. This products has the properties of impact, scratch and high temperature resistance and maintains the compatibility of the coating and cathodic protection, while no cathodic protection barrier. The total coating thickness is between 620microns and 1000 microns. This product has been certified to meet the requirements of CSA Z245.20-14, ISO 21809-1 and SY/T0315-2013 standard

Application |
Recommended application temperature range for FBE systems is 232-253ºC (450-488ºF). Recommended application temperature range for 3 layer PE/PP systems is 205-240ºC (400-464ºF). Allow to cure by residual heat before quench. |
Surface Preparation |
Remove all surface contamination before abrasive blasting. Blast clean using steel grit to SSPC SP-10-near-white metal with a minimum surface profile of 2 mils (51 microns). |
Shelf Life |
12 Months if stored below 27ºC (80ºF) and 65% relative humidity. |
Storage and Handling |
Store below 27ºC (80ºF) and 65% relative humidity. Protect from temperatures excursions above 33ºC (91ºF). If stored below the application room temperature, allow to warm to room temperature before opening. Refer to the material safety data sheet for more information. |
